Important Information  
The estimates available here are provided as a service to our customers. However, as each custom packing and shipping request is unique, so is each estimate. The following are some general parameters and considerations .  
     
● The prices provided by this tool are estimates. Your prices may vary based on the documented facts of the shipment.  
spacerBorder2● All shipments are estimated on a prepaid basis. No freight will move until packaging and freight charges are paid in full.  
spacerBorder2,spacerBorder2,spacerBorder2,spacerBorder2● Customer-packaged articles must meet carrier packaging standards.  
spacerBorder2● AMPC customer service may require additional packaging such as crating to meet safe transportation standards. This may require additional fees.

spacerBorder2,spacerBorder2● AMPC will not guarantee plants or perishables. Plants or perishables cannot be transported In or Out of California.  
● There is a maximum of 10 pieces on any one waybill. If the number of pieces exceed 10; an additional waybill must be created. Additional packing will apply.  
● The following are items will not ship:  
– Pianos and Organs that are un-crated  
– Used Engines  
– Boats of any kind  
– Hazardous materials  
– Chemical substances  
– Motorized vehicles  
– Propane and other ignitable tanks  
– Un-crated marble or high value items needing crating.  
– Pieces will be processed for shipment after crating arrangements have been satisfied  
– This list does not constitute all non shippable items.  
– Homedirect reserves the right to refuse shipments based upon safety and DOT regulations.  
● The following additional Accessorial Charges may apply:  
Deluxing (Gold service only) $12.50 per piece  
spacerBorder2Attempted Pick up / Delivery $50.00 per shipment per attempt  
Return shipment charge $7.50 per 100 lbs.; $37.50 minimum  
Disposal charge $20.00 per 100 lbs; $60.00 minimum of refused or damaged goods  
Stair Carries (in excess of two flights) $25.00 per flight per shipment  
Time Stop Service For specific Load or Delivery time outside of the 4 hour window, does not apply in all markets. $85.00per stop  
Service is available within fifty (50) miles of HomeDirect’s terminals.  
Extra Labor Beyond the standard two-(2) person delivery will be provided at an additional charge of $35.00 per person per hour with a 2 hour minimum.  
Extra Carries $10.00 (for each carry of 50 ft. beyond the first carry of 75 ft. from the vehicle to the outside entrance door)  
Billing Documentation (hard copies) $10.00 per shipment  
Non-Service Areas Charge: Applies by specific Zip Code $200.00 will be applied on shipments moving in or out of remote areas not readily accessible by a delivery vehicle.
